Burlington Orchestra Workshop for Strings

(aka Barbara's Orchestra Workshop for Strings)

BOWS will resonate with players who are motivated to learn and expand their skills, to explore string orchestra/ensemble music from the Baroque Era to the Present, and to participate in the music-making experience with others.

BOWS Spring Session

April 6, 13, 20, 27 and May 4, 2024

Saturdays, 10  am – Noon. 

Fee: $75

REPERTOIRE: Edvard Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Op. 40, and Henry Purcell’s Chacony in G Minor, edited by Benjamin Britten. Also, we will warm-up by reading a Bach Chorale for which we will provide the music.

LOCATION: St. Anthony's Parish Hall, 305 Flynn Ave. in Burlington, VT.

Players are responsible for acquiring their own sheet music/parts.
